Baldy In AUG
« on: July 15, 2015, 12:26:06 PM »
I know its been mentioned already, but lets make it official. Myself and Snowracer have been talking about doing Baldy August, Sunday the 16th. I believe that Mr.Gutsy is planning to attend also. Probably gonna tow Grampy down as no way ill have the weapon done, just need to get a new winch for gramps and should be ready to roll. Anybody else

B unfortunately has dropped off the face of the earth. Him and his business partner had a falling out. This spring.. b packed his stuff and vanished...

Min trail requirements is a 35 locked with a winch...    can you make it with less.. probably with a lot of damage

That's too bad about B. Phew looks like Grampy just makes er on the min requirements. I need a new winch, mine is a pos. I see TG has there's on sale, but just might have to cough up some more $$ for a warn, I'm done dealing with winch problems

If it's at all wet on the first bit past the cut.line you will need a winch.. it is absolute poo when wet.. stopped b's rig on 42s at the time I was first and I winched that whole hill.. he was behind me catching up cause he had 100 feet vs my puney 50 foot cable.  If it's dry won't need them
