Ran out of storage at the good part of the trail. And it was snowing raining and hailing and were quite late in the day so not much got taken. But j53 does have some and I'll try and steal them pics and vids if I can.

Got rejected on that line. But did make it over the rock on a lesser line and one rock stacked.  The mall and supermarket tires really held their own but I want a dedicated hardcore based tire for wheeling.

What a day. Up at 7 am scrounging parts for my Jeep. Managed to get mobile around 2 pm thanks to facebook coming through with my driveshaft.  Anyways since we were at my house j53 and I ripped up mt ida. I knew a short  section of trail that was fairly gnarly or enough to test her new tires out anyway so we get up there to find an F1 50 that's bone stock stuck. No way up ,no way down trail blocked. These guys were in way over their head so J53put on his big boy panties and managed to squeeze by them with most of his Jeep hanging over a big bank and pulled them out three near flops it was an exciting couple hours but we managed to get them out

I can't really reinforce this enough but he really put on a clinic with this recovery my minivan was just way too big to do anything in there he squeezed by and even on open diffs and all  the stuff that he's lacking he really was a hero.

Nicely done boys cheers, myself and many of my wheeling buddies have been put in this situation, all you can hope is that the recipient of the rescue will " pay it forward" and help somebody else having a poopy day, but most of the time that doesn't happen and us wheelers go about as unsung heros..

They were super nice guys. The passenger I ran into a couple years back when I first got the tj6. He had a nicely done bj42 cruiser on 33x10.5 and was super nice back then.  Simply put they took a wrong turn and then the road slowly deteriorates until you can't back out or turn around.  They were also super lucky as we passed them but i took a wrong turn. Had. Had my map open they would have had a very long cold walk.

Well this has been a great weekend for wheeling. 3 solid trips. Wrapped up today with a trip up hunters range .  My Jeep worked well. Took a massive beating. Broke trail 3/4 of the way. Even first up the summit after a Tj rubi on 35's couldn't make it. Lots of rpm in my Jeep.  Tried time lapse in my phone. Didn't work well but it's all ya get.

Haha. Ya the sleds were going pretty good up too. Bunch of them. Stole a few more pics from j53's FB

The white Jeep was a bone stock 2016 rubicon. He got pulled out a lot but did make it.

I was up at 6 am and the odd snow flake was falling i knew it would be white stuff up top but didn't expect that much but it didn't surprise me either. I was figuring on more mud at the bottom instead straight snow aside from 4 or 5 mud holes I fell through with 3-4" of ice on them. One the chunks of ice came up over my bumper and shot onto my hood as they brought me to a stop.  Thought I may have punched something out in my motor but all was good. The climb up is steep and washed out. It was the big challenge I was after to test my new rig. I really impressed I broke trail most of the way on 33's and open diffs. Jeepcity broke trail after I got a little over exuberant and burried my Jeep and the snow was deep and i couldn't quite get on top. His 35's and less weight and driving skill got us within 300 yards of the summit. Last climb everyone slid off sideways. Eventually having an auto and taller gearing I got a bunch of speed up and knocked down the wall of snow he pushed up. Then got a good second gear run in low range. Lazy trans won't shift back down out of second and the lack of avail torque was what i needed to stay on top all the way to the summit. The bottom section was a large part brute force and Ignorance as I let the Bajaclaws dig hard and they went good until I couldn't touch bottom. Now I've got to reprogram my driving style back to the no spin easy going style I had with the Tj-6. The claws work so damn well when placed on kill though.
