Few on the three of ours instagram accounts at the moment. When I get a chance tonight I’m planning on editing some up. Then fight my slow upload speed to YouTube.

It was a good day out. I was hoping j53 would get on top and do his idle thing and go and make the loop. This is the same spot we hit last trip a month ago or so. We went on our tracks which were under 2 feet of snow or more hit the end of our tracks and stopped dead. Even moving over we couldn’t move more than a vehicle length. The minivan was working awesome. Steve found some power in the old flatty. The throttle was hanging up on the rad support so it only had 1/2 throttle when i drove it. He turned the front tires around so it steers. Worked well all day. Most of the day my minivan was up past the cladding on my doors and unable to open them but it kept going.

Went out this weekend. Disaster.  All three of us stuck with 20 feet of pavement with the crown going to the Mitsubishi jeep. Brian took a really bad line where he nearly front flipped. The decent was done with back tires a couple feet in the air until the grill stopped the flip at the bottom of the ditch. Was a 2 winch recovery. I was up the road in the pullout helping Steve unload the flatty when we seen Brian’s poor line choice.  The snow favored Brian the the flatty.  I struggled to follow until I broke through a thick crust with sugar under it.  Steve tried to back the flatty up but broke through got stuck. Now Brian backed up and got stuck. So Steve and Brian used both winches and hooked up front and rear to winch themselves forwards and backwards to turn around. I shoveled out my wj about 3 times and couldn’t move. Eventually they got to me and Brian pulled me back with a pulley block.  We were stuck for a really long time.  Made it 2.5 km up the road all day.

You can see the snow in the headlight and fender from the near flip.
