Well if I had to pick I guess Nechako or Cranbrook would be my first and second choice from what I posted.
If we do the Nechako rd past the reserve, we may encounter where the plow stops. Could be fun, then we can try and make it to Chief lk rd from there if at all possible. It's been several years since I've ventured down the end of the Nechako rd.
Someone should pre run the Nechako rd sometime this week to see if the road is plowed all the way to Chief lk rd or not. If it is plowed (which I highly doubt it is) then it may end up being boring (doubtful it'll be boring) OR we find trails that lead off the Nechako rd along the way. Past the reserve is usually a fairly bad unkempt 1 lane road, if you can call it a road, in the summer so it could be fun this time of year.
Cranbrook hill past the subdivision there is a ton of dirt roads that are likely not plowed too, could be fun up there as well. Some of these trails go all the way back to the Miworth rd, as well as connecting to the mud river trail hook-up. Tho I really doubt we would make it that far but could be fun to try.
I think Spam said he has been out Miworth lately and there's only a foot(
) of snow out there so that should be Cranbrook too.
Either one of these spots will be less snow than Pilot mtn rd I bet but still a better way to spend the day than web wheeling. #fawker
Oh and the weather station says -9 day temps now for Sunday and -23 over night. They don't know what their talking about anyways, must be nice to get paid a Sh$t load of money to be wrong most of the time. Oh and why are they called a Meteorologist, they should be a BullSh$tologist!
I pick Nechako or second choice Cranbrook.
